Welcome to the Gordon Career Center's new website! Please explore to find information about our programs and discover resources for various industries.

Exploring

Exploration is a key part of career development. We are presented with jobs and role models to aspire to as we grow up, but the world is changing fast enough that old industries are changing as fast as new opportunities are appearing. Being curious about what positions and fields are interesting to you may help you find more fulfilling work in the long term.

We encourage you to use this website as a tool for exploring new fields. While the website is not a comprehensive guide to every position available (now and in the future), we hope that it can serve as a starting point for your adventures in learning more about the world.

Whether you’re unsure of what you want to do long term, are looking to shift industries, or are just curious about what other people’s work lives look like, we hope the various Career Communities can help you in your exploration process.

If you’re looking to learn more about specific industries, check out the various Career Communities under the “Explore & Connect” drop-down. If you’re interested in reflecting on your goals and priorities for your career, consider checking out the Self-Reflection Tools & Courses section under the “Reflect & Develop” drop-down. If you want to see some specific statistics about a given occupation or industry, try using the Labor Market Insights module found below and on every Career Community page.
