Welcome to the Exploring community! This page aims to help you consider how your interests can lead to various career options and how you can use the Career Interest pages to find resources that are relevant to you!

If you’re unsure about which field you want to pursue or feel drawn in different directions, it can be overwhelming to research many avenues simultaneously. The Career Interest pages are intended to provide you with a starting point. We have compiled resources that our team and Wesleyan students and alumni have found useful; we hope you will find information and tools to help you clarify if an industry is a potential fit for you and maybe even get you started on the path to breaking in!

We want to emphasize that these pages are meant primarily as starting points. Work is constantly evolving as time, culture, and technology progress. While we regularly curate the collected resources to try to best reflect the needs of each field, new communities and tools will always emerge faster than we can keep up. Once you have an idea of which fields may appeal to you, search beyond Wesleyan’s walls. Discover the spaces where similarly interested peers are discussing and shaping the industry’s future and jump in!

To explore industry-specific resources, head to the Career Interest drop-down at the top of this page and choose a field that interests you.
