Digital Fellowship, Pennsylvania Supreme Court Race

P26 is the home for Pennsylvania students who are ready to challenge the far-right’s attack on our futures and build a Pennsylvania where Gen-Z can lead and thrive.

This Fall, Pennsylvania residents will be voting on whether to keep three of our state supreme court justices on the bench. The outcome of this election will impact the court’s ability to stand up to bad actors and fight for our economic future for the next decade. In the past few years, this court has:

  • Guaranteed overtime pay for overtime work
  • Stood up to Amazon and Uber to ensure that all workers receive fair pay and benefits
  • Halted efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election
  • Upheld programs to pay recent graduates for early career internships

At an estimated 766,000 registered voters enrolled in colleges and universities across the state, Gen-Z students have the power to determine the outcomes of these elections–but only if we get organized now.

Building on work started during the 2023 State Supreme Court Election and in the 2024 Presidential election, we’re building a scrappy and innovative team that will organize and inspire thousands of college students to vote in the upcoming November elections, including the PA Supreme Court Election.

What Will You Do?

Our Digital Fellows will be a part of our first in-house influencers cohort and work with our Digital Engagement Director to:

  • Build your own social media following and engagement through working with professional social media & comms strategists.
  • Film and edit short-form creative videos that will help mobilize students for Pennsylvania’s 2025 elections.
  • Create static content and designs that will engage and educate student voters.
  • Build regional social media strategies and amplify key content to engage student voters around PA’s 2025 elections.

This is an excellent opportunity to get an inside look at how campaigns work and gain pivotal experience in crafting content that emphasizes key messages, while providing critical resources for students.

Our Digital fellowship will start on a rolling basis and run through November 14, 2025. Fellows will spend 15-20 hours a week mobilizing on their campus by filming, editing, developing concepts, engaging their followings, and talking to students about the importance of the upcoming elections. Fellows will be expected to produce and post a minimum of 10 pieces of short form content per week. Content will be shared on our statewide social accounts, students’ personal and/or influencer accounts, and campus-specific social accounts. This is a paid fellowship.

Who Are You?

As a successful candidate for this job, you will:

  • Be eager to find niche and/or untold stories
  • Understand the correct tone & pace for short-form video
  • Create content that sounds natural & organic, rather than scripted & pre-informed
  • Demonstrate an ability to condense information into under a minute in a way that is interesting to those with limited knowledge and interest of politics
  • Have a passion for using political engagement to build a future when Gen-Z can thrive and be ready to jump in and inspire young people to get involved
  • Be excited to think outside the box and to ideate and innovate to find the most exciting and effective content to mobilize students in your region
  • Be eager to talk to as many students as possible (and be comfortable talking to a lot of strangers/potential volunteers)
  • Be scrappy and flexible; able to manage several tasks simultaneously
  • Be a self-starter, exceptionally well-organized, and have strong time management skills
  • Be enrolled at a Pennsylvania college or university.

Job Details: Digital Fellows are paid an hourly rate of $16.67 and are expected to work 20 hours a week.

To Apply: Please submit this short application. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis with interviews starting in June.
