Join the Ramapo Country Day Camp team and spend your summer working, playing, and growing alongside amazing kids (ages 3–13) and an incredible team of college students and recent grads.
This isn’t your typical summer job — it’s a chance to make memories, build leadership skills, and have a positive impact on young campers every single day.
Positions Available:
- Group Counselor: Work with a co-counselor to lead a group of campers in daily activities, games, and adventures. Groups of campers are aged 3-13.
- Swim Instructor: Teach fun, small-group swim lessons in 1 of our 4 heated pools. (FREE lifeguard certification provided).
- Specialist: Share your talents in areas like sports, art, rock climbing, horseback riding, science, theater, gymnastics, nature, or go-karts — and turn your passion into purpose!

About Camp Life
Our 35-acre campus offers everything from swimming, art, theater, and sports to climbing walls, dirt track carts, woodworking, ceramics, and more.
Our campers come from Bergen County (NJ) and Manhattan (NYC), and our staff comes from across the tri-state area — all sharing a love for working with kids and making a difference.
Location & Transportation
600 Saddle River Road, Airmont, NY (Exit 172 off the GSP)
Daily transportation provided from Manhattan & Brooklyn along with our campers on our buses.
Just 25 minutes from the George Washington Bridge and 15 minutes from Paramus.
