Research Assistant

The Research Assistant will assist in the coordination of clinical trials. Administers neuro-psychological testing, standard cognitive tests, and questionnaires to patients with Alzheimer’s Disease, other cognitive disorders, and healthy control subjects. May help recruit study participants. Interacts with study partners. Compiles and maintains case report forms and other research records. Provides sponsors with requested information including query resolution. Performs vital signs, phlebotomy, and electrocardiograms on research subjects. Packs laboratory specimens for shipment. Operates and maintains laboratory equipment and supplies. Assists in the preparation of protocols, protocol renewals, amendments and all related documentation and materials for submission to the Human Investigation Committee. Enters and modifies data in computerized database. May assist in writing and editing material for publication and presentation.
