As a World Music Archives Graduate Assistant, Abiodun assists with the preservation and organization of audiovisual collections in the department. He has learned invaluable skills in archiving, media preservation, and library procedures.
In what ways has your campus job contributed to your personal, academic, or professional growth and aspirations? What skills have you gained?
It has significantly impacted my personal and academic journey. Engaging with diverse music collections has sharpened my research skills allowing me to examine musical data critically. Also, I have developed strong organizational skill by managing archival materials and assisting in various projects.
How do you manage to balance your campus job with academic commitments and other activities?I prioritize my tasks by creating a weekly schedule that outlines my classes, work hours, and study sessions. This helps me manage my time effectively and stay organized.

Shout-out to my supervisor Aaron Bittel for his incredible mentorship. I truly appreciate his patience in guiding me through assignments and his willingness to share his knowledge . His supportive nature has made a significant difference in my growth, and I feel fortunate to have him as a mentor.
