What did you work on?
I worked as a videographer creating a travel documentary traveling Iceland and filming super cool and unique things!
What was a highlight of your experience?
The highlight of my experience was seeing an active volcano. It was a 3.5 hour walk through a mountain but me and a new friend I made got to see the volcano and it was magical. We stayed there the whole night and just stared at it.
How did your summer experience impact you?
This summer experience really helped me realize a lot about myself and what I want to do with my time outside of Wesleyan! From this trip I have discovered my love for travel. This is something I have never done in my life as going to Iceland this summer was my first time out of the country. I love meeting new people from new backgrounds and I found this was a great opportunity to do this.
