What is your current role? What was your journey in arriving there?
I’m a farming village-born (Poland), city-raised (Brooklyn, NY), and suburb-based (White Plains, NY) coach passionate about helping professionals overcome fears, silence self-doubt, and thrive in their careers. My journey has taken me to over 30 countries, breaking bread with people from diverse cultures, reminding me how vast (and yet how small) and beautifully interconnected our world is.

During the Great Recession I took the first job I could at a small startup and stayed there for years. I had a great team with great camaraderie and culture. The opportunities out in the world were few, and I did grow within the company and worked on some cool projects. Eventually I grew disenchanted with the bureaucracy of HR… and moved on to coaching by starting my own career coaching (and now full-service coaching) practice.

As a former HR Learning & Development professional turned coach, my expertise lies in developing empathetic yet assertive communication skills, building confidence, and fostering thoughtful leadership. I’ve supported 720+ clients across nearly every industry imaginable, with engagements spanning virtually all seven continents (yes, even Antarctica!).

Each client is unique, and my approach reflects that. Some clients seek to polish their day-to-day public speaking skills, others wish to overcome imposter syndrome or confidently navigate high-stakes conversations with diverse stakeholders. Whatever the challenge, my goal is to empower you to get out of your own way, embrace growth, and thrive professionally.

Like any human, I am multi-layered:

What do you enjoy about your work? What challenges does your industry currently face?
See above.

How did your time at Wesleyan influence your career choice/journey?
I studied psychology but also dabbled in nearly every other topic area, from art, to political science, to sociology, biology and linguistics. This allows me to speak with and connect with anyone, in any field. And my work is industry-agnostic. I focus on soft skill development which transcends industries, functions, and geographies.

Do you have any advice for students thinking about entering your industry?
Invest in BOTH technical skills and soft skills. Period.
