What did you work on?
I worked on learning layouts, website design, and magazine design. Some of my work actually got published.
What was a highlight of your experience?
The best part of my experience was collaborating with others on something to be published that was worth looking at! I feel that this is a skill I can use for the rest of my life. I do think the very best moment was actually getting to see what we had done in print.
How did your summer experience impact you?
This summer experience was the best thing that I did this summer. Without the help of the grant, I would not have been equipped to do it. The grant allowed me to step out of my comfort zone and try something new without being strained. I think that my internship will allow me to have opportunities for new creative explorations.
