What was your role and what did you work on?
As a Strategic Analyst at Care.com, I was able to work in the enterprise-facing division and engage in a 2-month long internship modeled around a project on how to reimagine client-facing network showcase of Care’s enterprise product offerings.
What was a highlight of your experience?
A highlight of my summer was the opportunity to see the bell get rung at the NYSE when the merger of Smurfit Westrock was being announced to the world. This experience was made possible by my mentor, who I met through my internship. My mentor provided support for me throughout the entire summer and continues to do so now.
How did your summer experience impact you?
My summer experience has provided me with newfound confidence to seek out invigorating career-related experiences with the hopes to leave a lasting impact in the field of business and entrepreneurship. This summer, although a small step in my journey, represents the early baby steps of my career and I couldn’t be more grateful for the resources at Wesleyan that helped make it possible.
