Still Figuring Out Your Summer Plans?
You can still apply if you have not secured your summer experience. Your application will reflect the opportunity you are currently pursuing or your first choice if you are considering multiple opportunities. If chosen for funding, you will have the ability to submit a revised application if your plans have changed and you have a different summer opportunity than what was in your original application. All revisions will be reviewed before funding is determined.

What Types of Grants are There?
There are many grants that fall into the Wesleyan Summer Grants Program – some are very general in nature and support a variety of opportunities while others have specific requirements. Grants are available in the following areas:

The complete list of 2023 grants will be available in January. It is the applicant’s responsibility to review each grant for specific eligibility and requirements.

Grants that are added to the list while the application is open might not be shown as choices on the application. All applicants who meet the criteria listed for these particular grants will automatically be considered.

Grants with an Internship
The following internship opportunities are funded through this program. If you are interested in one of these internships, in addition to applying to the grant on AcademicWorks you will apply to them directly on Handshake. You can still apply to the Wesleyan Summer Grants program for another opportunity where you would need funding. Please see each individual posting for directions.
