Through this course, students can earn one quarter credit per semester for participating in Ideals into Practice, a program that allows students to make connections between their academic curriculum and the practical experience they gain through campus employment, off-campus internships, community service, and extracurricular activities. By engaging in deep reflection about the skills they are gaining throughout their time at Wesleyan, students will be able to understand and explain to others how their liberal education prepares them for life after college.Permission of the instructor is required. For the 2022-23 academic year, course registration is limited to students 1) who completed CSPL 405/406 in 2020-21 or 2021-22 OR 2) who also have permission of their campus employment supervisor. Students enrolling in conjunction with campus employment should register for the course and ask their supervisors to e-mail the instructor with their permission. Information for supervisors may be found on the Ideals into Practice website. This course may be repeated for credit, but you may only count one full credit toward your degree. |
