WesLink

WesLink connects Wesleyan students and alumni for meaningful 1:1 career conversations over winter break. These virtual conversations are an easy way for students to learn from alumni experiences, explore career paths, and build confidence as they think about next steps. For alumni, it’s a chance to give back in a flexible, impactful way by sharing career insights and reflections on their Wesleyan journey.

Alumni Volunteers

Alumni volunteers will be matched with up to three students for 1:1 virtual conversations about careers, industries, and the value of a Wesleyan education during the University’s winter break.

Alumni Voices:

“I always love getting to connect with Wes students – thanks for making this program so easy to get involved in. The students who reached out to me were genuinely interested in my field, prepared, and kind.”

“Wesleyan students are so bright and driven – they were all well prepared, asked thoughtful questions, and were professional and lovely to chat with.”

“It was exciting for me to see the next generation of students ready to lead into the future. I shared knowledge and experience with them, but I felt inspired by their curiosity and motivation.”

*Students must have their resume approved on Handshake by the Gordon Career Center to apply and be eligible to participate in this program. The resume review and approval process can take several business days, so it’s best to get a head start if your resume has not yet been approved on Handshake. Review our resume writing guide and resources and schedule a resume review appointment to meet with a Peer Career Advisor for individual guidance.
