The Gordon Career Center’s annual WesLink program (formerly WEShadow), connects Wesleyan students with alumni for one-on-one casual, virtual career conversations during the University’s winter break in January. For students, WesLink is a valuable opportunity to explore career options, learn about specific roles and industries, and build meaningful links with alumni. For alumni volunteers, WesLink is a chance to reflect upon their career and liberal arts education, share insight and advice, and get to know current students who are eager to learn from their experiences.
Interested alumni are asked to register in October and opportunities to connect are listed as job postings on Handshake. Students are asked to apply by submitting the approved version of the resume to up to ten relevant postings in advance of the application deadline on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at 11:59pm. Students will be selected for WesLink connection meetings via random lottery. Alumni will coordinate directly with selected students to arrange a meeting date, time, and medium to take place between January 9 – 20, 2023.
If you would like support searching or applying for WesLink opportunities, building your resume, or preparing for your meeting don’t hesitate to schedule a career advising appointment to work with a member of our team.
