Internship
Tucson, AZ. Remote. Lindsey Parsons ’91 (Wesleyan University) is looking for an intern to help produce and promote her successful podcast: “The Perfect Stool: Understanding and Healing the Gut Microbiome”. Learn and apply a variety of skills; great experience. Good for students interested in podcast production, marketing and/or functional/integrative medicine.
Duties
Edit audio, do research for the podcast content on gut health, write summaries of podcast content, research potential guests, write podcast scripts, write blog posts, assemble newsletter, help with promotion of the podcast and a supplement on social media, produce graphics for each podcast, help market supplement line. I am happy to collaborate with your institution to provide credit for this position.
Requirements
Excellent writing skills, native or near-native English speaker, detail orientation, experience posting to social media, able to work independently. Ability to work at least 10 (of 15-20 hours), M-F, between 9 and 4 Pacific time. Otherwise, work hours are pretty flexible. Start and finish dates are also flexible.
Desired but not required: Experience creating graphics with Canva, experience editing audio with Audacity.
