Learning Dynamics (www.LearningDynamics.com), headquartered in Wallingford, Connecticut, is seeking a learning and development intern to support company and consultant training and initiatives to guarantee client satisfaction. This role works in conjunction with consultants and upper management to synthesize and ensure timely delivery of training materials, proofread and edit confidential training materials, and serve as a point of contact for office operations and supply restocks. A successful candidate can work with minimal supervision, prioritize workloads to ensure all tasks are completed before deadlines, and has excellent communication and internal customer service skills.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Edit, proofread, and create training workbooks, presentations, and other materials to ensure that they are grammatically correct, informative, and cogent
- Mail training materials to consultants/clients within the stated deadline
- Monitor and restock office supplies as needed via contacting outside vendors, often without direction from upper management
- Serve as a point of contact for the business and direct questions/inquiries to the appropriate parties
- Support consultant efforts towards successful programs through timely communication and follow-up
- Other tasks as needed
Education:
- Must be a college undergraduate pursuing a degree preferably in Human Resources Management, I/O Psychology, or Business (although other majors will be considered)
Experience:
- Experience working in an office environment preferred
- Internal/External customer service experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- High level of ability in English comprehension and proofreading
- High level of phone and email etiquette required
- Beginner knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Able to lift up to thirty (30) pounds
Hours and Pay:
- Seeking an intern for the summer and 2024/2025 school year
- Hours are flexible, based on the student’s schedule. Minimum requirement is 6 hours/week.
- The position is paid at $17/hour
