Social Media interns receive hands-on practical experience in social media content creation, marketing, and working with publications and published works for a growing creative arts publisher. Students are encouraged to use social media to capture the literary world and art-making process, alongside tools they’ve gained in school.
This role is remote (meaning you can work from wherever) and you can expect a time commitment of up to 10 hours, or less, a week, depending on your interests and time commitment.
Who we look for:
High School, Undergraduate, or Graduate students who have a passion for social media, digital marketing trends, literature, and art; students who are interested in gaining marketing experience exploring what it means to generate awareness for contemporary literature and art online.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Writing witty copy across social platforms like Blue Sky, Facebook, etc.. Create a persona for “LJ” and develop a unique voice.
- Tailoring content to resonate with bookworms, writers, and artists audiences. Use your joy for storytelling to grow our following.
- Defining brand standards and best practices, across digital platforms.
- Planning and optimizing content with a blend of creativity, trend insights, and persuasive copywriting to enhance our digital presence and digital relationship-building.
