As a Marketing Coordinator and Content Creator, you’ll be an integral part of our team, collaborating closely with the Road/Content Manager. This position presents a distinctive opportunity to cultivate expertise in marketing strategy, content creation, client engagement, brand development, and event activation. Your main responsibility will involve driving the success of our diverse marketing initiatives, including projects related to our renowned online mentoring programs for entrepreneurs, alongside contributing to the overall objectives of our organization. On-the-job training will be provided to refine your abilities and equip you for this dynamic role.
We are currently on the lookout for a dynamic intern to join our Marketing Coordinator and Content Creator team in Miami, for the Summer 2024 semester.
We are seeking a self-driven and proactive candidate with a keen interest in brand development, promotional initiatives, and strategic business growth. The ideal applicant should possess exceptional multitasking abilities and demonstrate the capacity to successfully manage projects both collaboratively and independently.
As an intern, you will gain educational experience by:
- Assisting in coordinating marketing strategy for special projects and activations.
- Conducting market research across radio, podcasts, events, FUBU, film, and TV opportunities.
- Creating documents including sponsorship decks, itineraries, market research, and contracts, enhancing overall business communication.
- Participating in activation and content creation, effectively executing market strategy while honing organizational and administrative skills.
- Editing a variety of social media-based/video projects to shape the brand experience, contributing innovative ideas in brainstorming sessions for video content development.
- Collaborating with the team (graphic designers, marketers, and other members) on copywriting tasks.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate a passion/interest in pursuing a career in marketing & content creation.
- Candidates with prior customer/client service experience preferred.
- Possess highly functional computing and social media skills across platforms
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint on both Mac and PC platforms.
- Comfortable working with Canvas, AI Pen
- Ability to edit and create content ideas
- Exhibit strong business writing and editing skills.
- Showcase solid organizational, analytical, logical reasoning, oral and written presentation skills, with acute attention to detail.
- Adept at speaking and conveying ideas and plans effectively.
- Be personable and comfortable around celebrities and top executives.
Requirements:
- Must be currently enrolled in a college or university and able to receive credit for your internship at The Shark Group.
- 10 – 20 hours per week
- Must provide an official school letter acknowledging proof of enrollment and eligibility.
- All interns will be required to occasionally commute in the Miami office and must have access to transportation, a computer/laptop.
