I am a partner in a large, single-specialty, independently owned, private dermatology practice.
What do you enjoy about your work? What do you struggle with?
I enjoy the challenge and satisfaction of diagnosing, improving, or curing challenging health conditions.
Do you have any advice for students thinking about entering your industry?
Make the most of your liberal arts education. This is the time to learn about art and history and literature.
How did your time at Wesleyan influence your career choice/journey?
I completed most of my pre-med requirements at Wesleyan. Basic science research as an undergraduate led to 4 years of research before and during medical school. My experiences as a student-athlete taught me time management and leadership skills that I still use today.
