What was the name of the organization you worked for over the summer?
KPMG

What did you work on?
Our summer project involved creating a blueprint for a mock short-staff hospital to address their long ER wait times using Generative AI (GenAI) technology. We used KPMG’s internal GenAI service, AdvisoryGPT, to research, generate ideas, and experience the benefits of this new technology. To sum it up, we learned “how to know what to know.”

What was a highlight of your experience?
A core highlight was presenting the Azure architecture for our hypothetical solution. I delved into the various technical goals of our project, visualized their functionalities as cloud components, and translated the technical jargon into a digestible manner for our audience to understand. Seeing the process from 0 to 100 was really special, Alhamdulilah.

How did your summer experience impact you?
This experience helped me grow professionally, bridging the gap between theory and real-world application. It allowed me to explore my interest in cloud technology, especially with the increasing popularity of Generative AI. I am extremely grateful to the Citrin Family for supporting this opportunity to improve my communication and technical skills, preparing me for even more amazing experiences in the future, In Sha Allah.
