CT Governor’s Innovation Fellowship

Sponsored by the State of CT, this program allows graduates who remain in the state and work in a STEM-related job a way to earn a $5,000 fellowship grant and gain access to mentorship, curated professional development, and a community of similarly driven peers. A fellowship helps to improve your professional reputation by providing the financial resources to succeed academically and further distinguishes you as an ideal candidate in the job market. Applying for and participating in a fellowship enables participants to develop both personally and professionally.

Scholar’s Eligibility

To be eligible, you must meet the following criteria:

•  Graduating senior or graduate student of a Connecticut university or college or a graduate from a Connecticut high school graduating from an out-of-state college
• Must accept an offer for a technology-related (or STEM-focused, STEM-adjacent) position
• Position must be based in Connecticut
• Must be a Connecticut resident by July 1

Applications typically open in January and requires a letter of recommendation.
